Periods have been confusing people for decades.

Especially teenage girls.

I remember the first time I (ever) got my period I thought I needed to immediately eat a 50pc set of chocolate. (Don’t try this at home).

I wasn’t prepared at all for my bodily changes — and that’s an understatement.

Turns out, this doesn’t get better with age. Women in their 40s/50s going through another phase of change called menopause. They are equally as ignorant as teenage girls over dosing on chocolate.

All the big changes women go through lack preparedness.

Being female can be confusing, but overtime, you get used to the patterns of your body. Sometimes you can identify when something is wrong if your patterns seem out-of-line.

Our bodies are like clocks — if your (clock) hands stop working, you won’t know what time it is.

I’m currently exploring the science behind female health, and identifying opportunities to improve our systems and products.

To understand the areas for improvement in female health, we need to understand the female reproductive health.
